Artist's Description
It all started with a Roasterie Coffee sign I saw painted on the side of a building in Kansas City. I ended up seeing the same design in a coffee shop in my hometown. I was inspired and I had to create a C-130 version of the design for the 40th Airlift Squadron. People starting asking me to create custom versions as going away gifts, so the custom edition was born. This is the pilot edition.
About Michael Brooks
Mike Brooks was raised in central Wisconsin. Shortly after graduating high school, he enlisted in the Air Force. Being an Airman with no car and little money, gave Mike plenty of time to draw and sketch. His time in overseas exposed him to wonderful works of art found in places like the National Gallery in London and the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel in Italy. Despite the influence of Renaissance Masters, Mike soon found himself in college pursuing a degree in business. Too many classes and competing priorities left little time for creative play, but Mike became inspired when he met renowned aviation artist Rick Broome. Rick's love of aviation and art really gave Mike a new life perspective and Rick became a mentor of sorts. Despite...
